The property rental industry is about to undergo huge changes with new legislation being introduced and Government
Departments wanting to look in depth at the Landlord – Tenant relationship to improve it for all parties.
Compulsory redress schemes came into force 1 October 2014 and Keystone are pleased to announce that we have been a member
of the government recommended scheme being run by the Property Ombudsman. (Any letting agents or landlords who fail to sign
up to a redress scheme by this deadline will be committing a criminal offence which could result in a fine of up to £5,000.)
We can take the stress out of letting your property because we know the support and level of service which is required to
help you run your property and business as efficiently and problem-free as possible. We pride ourselves on being specialists
in our industry and are confident we can let your property quicker than anyone else in the area.
New Government regulations
requires Letting Agents to publish letting fees on their website. Many agents are not complying with this but Keystone believe
our fees are competitive and fair.
We can now able to offer landlords two packages...
50% + VAT of first months rent (subject to a minimum fee of £350 plus VAT, a total of £420).
If you want to avoid the hassle, or are uncertain of the processes involved in preparing a water-tight tenancy
agreement, credit checking tenants, taking a deposit and other new regulations then Tenant Find Plus may be just
what you need. This package will include:
£100 plus VAT
and Schedule of Condition of the property can be purchased as an extra to the above. This will be done on state of the art
software that will be dated automatically and will show the property’s contents, furniture, fittings and effects. An Inventory
is important to agree with your tenant at the beginning of the tenancy as it will form the basis of any claim for damages.
£300 plus VAT tenant find fee. Then 10% plus VAT per month (subject to minimum fee of £50 plus VAT per month)
This package includes:
Our staff are trained to a high standard and have all the necessary information and knowledge at their fingertips. We are
committed to offer the highest levels of care and attention, ensuring your property is let quickly and that the tenancy
runs as smoothly as possible. We continually strive to provide a quality service.
