It sums up everything I instil into Keystone colleagues in four short words, so I've derived a similar quote of my own which is even more akin to our business...
It's about PEOPLE, not property

Ben Roberts
Managing Director
Ben, along with his Dad-Paul, opened Keystone back in February 2007. His background was in Mortgages and his original plan was to open a mortgage brokerage, however his parents who already had years of experience in the property market convinced him to combine his new venture by opening an Estate/ Letting Agency which also specialised in Mortgages. This turned out to be a wise move as the diversity of all three arms of the business along with sheer hard work, Keystone were able to come out of the difficult credit crunch years and the business has continued to grow into one of Flintshire’s leading agencies.
His Dad-Paul retired from the business in 2014 at this point he brought in his Mum-Glenys and in 2021 his wife Jill joined Keystone to “keep it in the family!” He would argue it was for her to keep an eye on him!
Having lived in the area all his life, Ben knows the area inside out with 16 years experience and selling over £175m worth of Flintshire homes. Ben and his team have won various awards over the years with the latest being a nationally recognised award for digital innovation and growth. He’s spoken on national estate agency podcasts is now recognised as one of the county’s leading Estate Agents.
He lives in the Wepre area of Connahs Quay with Jill, his son Blake and two Jack Russell dogs Gini and Bonnie. He enjoys Match fishing and was part of the Wales team that won the European Championships in 2016. He is now Manager of the Wales team. Skiing and watching Football are his other two passions in life.
Interesting Fact!
In his younger years Ben was a Ski Instructor living and working in Andorra.

Glenys Roberts
Lettings Manager
Glenys joined Keystone in 2014 after spending 15 years working at Coleg Cambria. When her husband, Paul, said he wanted to retire from Keystone and spend more time in France she decided to leave the college and came to work at Keystone. She has been a dedicated member of the company, supporting and looking after the interest of the family business at all times especially during the Pandemic.
In her role as Lettings Manager she has proved a hit with many tenants and landlords and we regularly receive great feedback. Glenys is now concentrating on giving our clients the very best service and increasing our property management numbers in the coming year. Interesting Fact!
Glenys keeps the 'family-based business' label alive, as she is mother of Managing Director Ben, MIL to Jill, Nana to Blake and wife of retired founder Paul. She rises at 6am or earlier every morning to enjoy her daily swim and, as they live opposite Wepre Park, an early morning walk through the woods!

Jill Roberts
Operations Manager
Jill has joined the business in 2021. She has brought a wealth of Customer services and management skills to the table as she was a Customer service Manager with worldwide Food giant Tate & Lyle. Already she has implemented many new systems and processes within Keystone which has enhanced the customer experience even further. Our core values are all centered on the service we provide and Jill’s knowledge in this area is priceless.
Jill is MD Bens’ wife and for the last ten years has always from afar advised Ben on the image of the company. Jill has regularly chipped in with suggestions and through gritted teeth he won’t mind admitting she is usually right! Jill has fitted in superbly with the rest of the Keystone team and she looks forward to implementing her skills to further improve the business.
Jill is also a Connah’s Quay girl raised in York Road and now lives in the Wepre area with husband Ben, son Blake and Jack Russell Terrier dogs Gini and Bonnie. She loves keeping fit going to the Gym regularly and Skiing with the family in winter.
Interesting Fact:
Jill once asked to nip out in Ben’s brand new 3 day old car. She didn’t even make it off the drive crashing it into the corner of the gate post as she turned out of the drive….As you can imagine Ben was ecstatic about this.
Lee Bennett
Viewings Coordinator
Having been working for Keystone since 2014 and originally born and breed within the Flintshire region, Lee has a vast knowledge of the area and its people.
Gaining invaluable knowledge of the property industry over the years, Lee has now taken over the mantle from Ben of being the main property valuer and is soon becoming a bit of a local celebrity appearing on many of the social media platforms presenting Keystone First Look property videos.
Having a great love of the outdoors, when he does manage to get some time off, Lee likes to head down to the North Wales Coast and explore it’s beautiful coastlines, quaint villages and sample some of the local foods and beverages.
Interesting Fact:
Lee is one of our MD Bens’ best friends. He braved Bens skiing stag do even though he is petrified of heights! Hence to add that he enjoyed the après ski far more than the Skiing!
Lyubomir Mirchev

Lyubo joined the Keystone team in August 2020. You are likely to meet Lyubo when you instruct us to sell your property. Lyubo is our property photographer and 3D virtual tour recorder.
Prior to the pandemic in 2020, Lyubo has had number of job roles within the banking sector and has extensive customer service and sales experience.
Although Lyubo joined the team recently he has come a long way and has learnt a tremendous amount about the industry. Lyubo is approachable and has natural charisma. He enjoys meeting and speaking to people.
Interesting Fact:
Lyubo was born and raised in Bulgaria and he came to Wales at the age of 11. Since then, he has played basketball for many local teams within Flintshire and has represented Wales under 19s.
Rachel Evans
Administrator &
Sales Negotiator
Rachel joined the Keystone team in 2015 working in sales & rentals and gaining a wide knowledge of both. She is able to handle many situations that occur in everyday life at Keystone and always has suggestions to improve the business.
You can see from our testimonials that Rachel is mentioned many times and gets lots of chocolate and biscuits from our kind clients – she always shares them. She is a hit with our vendors and buyers due to her hard work in progressing properties through to completion. She is always there to de-stress them in times of crisis and has amazing powers of calming a situation where others would fail.

Rachel is very family orientated and loves to spend time with all of her family but especially her niece, who she adores and spoils all the time.
